Google has updated Search Console’s Performance report so you can select multiple countries and see their combined Google Search traffic. The change gives sites operating across several markets a way to examine those countries together inside the dashboard.
Google Search Central announced the update on LinkedIn on October 6. Its example shows Brazil, Japan and the United Kingdom selected in the same Country filter, with an Apply button beneath the list.
Choose the countries you want to track together
In Search Console, open Performance > Search results, add or open the Country filter, tick the countries you want to include and select Apply. The selected countries form a combined view of Search performance over your chosen date range.
Google also mentions device analysis in its announcement, although the shared screenshot demonstrates the country selector. The post gives no detailed rollout timetable.
A global traffic total can hide trouble in your main markets
For a publisher selling advertising mainly to audiences in the US, UK and Canada, a combined view of those countries can answer a more useful question than the sitewide total. Growth elsewhere might keep overall clicks looking healthy while traffic in those three markets falls. Grouping them makes that decline easier to spot.
Keep the individual country breakdown in view, too: growth in one selected market can offset a fall in another. Google’s filtering documentation still describes the older approach of comparing two countries, highlighting the practical change introduced by the new selector.
If you are also investigating image-led searches, SEW’s guide to the Search Console multimodal filter explains how to inspect that traffic separately.
